Unafraid To Learn

Lawrence S. Pertillar 1947 (Connecticut)

Unafraid to learn.
Unafraid to say it and admit,
Mistakes made to correct...
Developed from an ignorance.
Done to defend,
Against those who displayed...
Living their lives acquiring experience.
Unafraid to listen,
More to pay attention.
To anyone who has earned,
Wisdom.
A wisdom only achieved,
Through a facing of obstacles.
And challenges.
On a daily basis not to leave.
To stay unafraid to remain moving on.
With it to know,
Whatever is wrong or right...
There will be lessons to learn.
Day and night throughout one's life.
And this to accept to expect,
No one should object unless...
They have become too afraid,
Of a progress that can be made to make...
Done to move forward,
Unafraid or fear threats of an unknown.
Yet to have met.
Although will express their regrets.
Not of their own.
But of others who have shown,
Their fears to accept and expect...
Them allowed to be followed!
And to spread.
As if a life to live,
Is meant to do it...
Restricted to cemented mental limits.
Authorized by laws and rules to obey!

'What is it that you use to think for yourself?'

'I don't know.
I have not done that yet.
Do you have any suggestions?'
