Unheard Voices Of The Lonely

The corner of the class was my place to be.
It granted me the distance I wanted to be
I didn't want this unheard life but I stay
For my voices were heard but never listened.

My lips parted rarely and stayed together
The crippling fear of being judged by the other
I appeared silent despite my will to speak
My inner voice went unheard to the world.

I watched them speak and laugh and run
I watch them going to parties and having fun
Maybe my fear got the better of me then
I shall go unheard of by the rest as time passes.

Lonely at a corner, too afraid to speak to them
Never truly the part of any convo with them
I tried to speak with courage but was wasted,
For my voices were heard but never listened

I hope that I can overcome my fears to speak
And live my life in the way I wish it to be
Since it's better to speak your heart out
And let it be heard even if it isn't listened
