The wizard of darkness

Philemon Crider 1965 (Shawnee)

Beware my friends my name is the wizard.
Known to some as a Great White blizzard.
When I first lived nobody knew.
When the law found out I was already through .
I entered the business without a thought.
What would happen if I was caught.
My little white games were nothing but waste.
So soft so deadly so bitter with taste.
I can make a man shabby that one stress nice.
And send a greedy Pusher to prison for life .
I can cause a good boy to forget his books.
And cause a happy woman to forget her looks.
I'm not just a wizard of God to behold.
More treasure the diamonds more precious than gold.
So if you wish to hear more of the things I can do.
Of the women I delighted and the men that I slewed.
I'm the wizard of crime and the prince of corruption.
I'll capture your soul and cause us destruction.
You tossing you turn but still you can't sleep.
You wake in the morning I'll trembley and weak
You searched it a night for simply a sparkle.
But you'll never find it, for I am :
THE WIZARD OF DARKNESS
