The Shine of a Star

The night was dim and dark
With a boy lost in the park
All he longed for, was a bit of light
To cure his plight and help him fight

A star then started burning bright
Beautiful than the twilight
The boy screamed out loud and high
Towards the pretty present of sky

The spark of star in night's starkness
Has erased the lad's sadness
For he can now climb the steep slope
With the bright star's hope.
