The Reminiscences
I miss my world with as big as my imagination —
Where there's no pain, problem, emptiness and frustration,
Where positivity and happiness — is not for calculation,
Where every single things you have done — doesn't need an explanation.
You will never feel betrayals, judgements, and aches in the society,
You will never feel tension, devastation and anxiety,
You will feel the belongingness — like you're not in invisibility,
And above all — you're physically and mentally healthy.
I was just like a bird — flying and soaring high,
Twirling, turning, in the wind and make a little sigh,
I just went home, when I feel tired and hungry,
And at the table — my mom always prepared my favorite chicken curry.
I used to sing in front in the electric fan when no one watching
I used to turn on the tv or the cassette just to have my own style of dancing
I also tried slightly opening the fridge's door to see the light turn and off
I bought stick o from the store and make it as a cigarette to puff
I miss being a funny clown, running around, with nothing to bother,
I miss playing with my little cute sister making a lather,
I miss my mother reading magical books for us to sleep or either,
Sing us lullaby song, like bringing us into ether.
I filled my childhood memories days with endless wonder,
I took every single hour strides longer and never trigger,
I became a day dreamer, and wanted to shine like the stars at night,
Just like I closed my eyes, and make my own world insight.
There is no ransom to paid for a priceless smile of child,
A smile that down to earth — reckless and mild,
As time ticking on the clock — the world of mine seems so timeless,
And that was the only time I feel wholeness.
If I ever have a time machine, I will go there and stay,
Just give me one more time to be like a child a gain, but there's no way,
If ever the scientist will discover a medicine to become a child again,
I would buy it ,no matter how expensive it is — it's not a lain.
