The Mother's Fury

The Mother's Fury
~~~~~~~~~~~~~
The waters of the lifegiving Ganga flow
Roaring in fury is the furious Mother's blood
Lord Shiva's third eye forces a flood
Where seeds of destruction grow
The curse of nature revealed slow
Can reduce all into rubble and mud
Where weeping animals fled and foolish humans tread
While mighty mountains and shrubs whisper "no"
And yet projects on rivers and lakes whenever
We built in greed, countless creatures we slayed
Culture's fire, smoke, buildings, and killings never
Spared a bird or fish, or a humble tree's shade
Light, food, life, and hope forever
Left a land where Project Satan stayed.
