Scars

And into the forest I go to relive peaceful moments,
And far from chaos of my life,
My soul is deep rooted in forest and it flies over celestial sphere,
I've no intentions to leave this place,
It feels like home to my heart,
So I'm finding a tree under which I can sit,
I found it and I sat under his shelter.
Now I'm blank from all the thoughts that was running in my mind,
I can only think of him,
How every year he loses his leaves but still stands tall,
He's been through a lot ,I can see it from his scars,
From wind almost crumbling his roots
From sun's heat making him hard to survive,
From waiting patiently for a drop of rain during dry out,
To standing still in the cold winter.
In the moment I forgot my pain and my hardships,
I can think of my scars and relate to his,
I can see his scars through his bark,
But it is what made him strong.
