My woman Purrs

Karen Lee Koechel 1954 (New York State)

My woman she purrs
as she lies on my chest

I contently holding
her perfect round breast

Our love is so brisk
like the wind flowing free

Yet I cry out in sweat
in complete ecstasy

She kisses my body
and touches my face

caressing the pain
she wants to erase

I lie here so still
trembling inside

I love her so much
why do I hide.

About this poem

I wrote this as my cat Dooley layed on my bed and purred so deep the bed moved.
