MY MUSE

I cannot forget my muse.
I cannot neglect her,
I cannot lose touch with my muse
No matter how life become obtuse on me

I cannot forget my muse
Can't you see her?
She grieved in pain in labor
And blood gushed out of her to bring me out to breathe

I cannot forget my muse
Who hustle and bustle on the street of life
Trying to carve a niche for me
Drove herself too hard to make me live in riches.

I cannot forget my muse
I remember how she would pray through the night for me
And people around wonder why
Those moments are priceless to me

The times she communed with God
So tireless and poured onto God all her emotions for me to grow into greatness
This day I write in happiness as a man
'Cos I cannot forget my muse
