Mr. Money

This is not a baloney, oh bossy,
the sun awakes,
the moon gets breaks,
but  your life is at stake with aches,
your eyes are opaque.

Oh Mr.  Money,
the magnet to the virtual disney,
scarce tickets for your journey,
people trapped in farewell shell,
the driver to death till hell.

Bravo! Hey Ironic Holy,
astrayed many to your vague litany,
your guarantee to your blind abbey,
precious souls onto rows,
static tears into flows,
Sorry to say so, are you a friend or a foe?

You imposter Sweet Cookie,
why do your sweet bitterness make us sweaty,
sucks rich lives to wholly empty,
intoxicating us to funny bunnies,
the root felony between fellow buddies!?

Mr. Money,
I expected you to help me fight destiny,
never thought you're the shadow of larceny,
 agony in background of harmony,
the weed that feed greed and stampede,
you made me a dupee that exceeds degree.

Hey Teacher Money,
you taught me the meaning of white and khaki,
made my heart stony like ebony, now my life is adobe,
I build and fix shattered lives to bonny,
I'm still wondering though, are you my friend or my enemy?

About this poem

This poem discusses on Money struggles including how it turned things upsidedown. Money is literally the root cause of many deaths at the extent where people restlessly hustle without any care for their own lives or health. On the otherside, it reveals how money is also vital for our sharpness and resilience in life.
