Make Me Yours

Make Me Yours

I walked on the road answering my call, I nearly fall
But I didn't because there you were standing tall, built as a wall
There then I heard a fluttering in my heart though dull as it rang "make me yours"

In the morning we always went to the , I considered you my star
At noon,we carved the moon
I heard the fluttering in my heart now singing"make me yours"

You got on your knees, proposed to me
We got tats of a wing and also bought a diamond ring
The fluttering in my heart was screaming"make me yours"

As I collected my ring I heard a life shattering Bangg!!
A car ran passed, my beloved lay on the floor lifeless
He gave up the ghost with the words " I love you"
The fluttering in my heart disappearing "make me yours".

About this poem

In a few lines I give you a whole story. A story of love, fate and loss. Instead of writing a novel I write a poem.
