INDIA: MY PRIDE

India, my motherland and my pride
Dons the Tiranga on her diverse hide.
Strength in saffron, peace in white and faith in green,
Are the spirits in ‘em unseen.

Her soaring divine and dynamic verdant eyes
Cries out cheering waters with sightly sighs.
Her tall lashes blink with welcoming squeals,
Flowering balls blossom while birds in wheels.

She gives birth to the greatest of great
Who open the gates of heaven to the world await.
Mother’s sons sacrifice their cherished lives
To protect their plunky paradise.

My India is decorated with traditional pearls,
Her beauties are these revered wears.
For her, its yet less to describe,
Afterall, its my India, my pride.
