Immortal History

History, a perennial source of mankind,
embeded with an infinite baggage of past,
Past, not like ordinary past,
but, beacon of hope which stands everlast.

History, speaks louder like no other,
In a valiant way, it says, 'I've witnessed...',
an immeasurable events,
And it says, 'I'm ageless and unharnessed'.

History, sculpted by some unfaded ink,
of Anglicists and Orientals
And inscribed on it's emboldened chest,
through timeless pictographs.

History, an everlasting nexus of future and past,
teaches unending lessons,
from the morales of Byzantine and Romans,
to the empires that are on the verge of collapse.

History, a steadfast runner with time,
never submit itself to take rest,
It will always be ornamented with multifolded way,
As long as there is Voltaire's ,Tagore's, and Basham's,
 , immortal works dwell on it's crest..
