I LOVE MY LITTLE GRANDSONS

I love my little grandsons
They’re as cute as cute can be
Though at times they drive me crazy
They’re my whole world, you see.

Born the same date four years apart
One’s a year - the other five
I thank the Good Lord for His Grace
And my joy to be alive.

I long to hold them everyday
As they mean so much to me
But sadly, it’s not so easy
As they live far away from me.

Their hugs and kisses fill my heart
With bliss beyond compare
I feel young when they’re around
Despite my silver hair.

At night as I kneel down to pray
I beg Our Lord above
To bless and keep them in His care
And enfold them in His love
