I am a child alone

I am a child alone

I am a child this I know
That was pushed into this world alone
A hopeless world where I come to know
Where every child faces his fate alone
Roaming every street I know like a sheep without a shepherd alone

My future is at stake for me
Yet they want a great leader of me tomorrow
I the child that hovers around like the cloud
Becomes an adult at my age to survive

I am a child
Yet they don't care about
The future generation in me
Must I face these norms alone?
Can't our kind be catered for?

I am a child
That everyone knows
Yet everyone let me suffer alone
Everyone watch my kind die an avoidable death

I am a child
I cried to my leaders the last hope in me
Still crying if they will adopt me
For better tomorrow in me

About this poem

Is on children suffering all over the world without who to care for and provide for them. Society doesn't seem to care again and the danger attached to it.
