her

her 2002 (Pardubice)

I hate the fact that you love sunsets
because I love them too
and every time I look at them,
I get the same déjà vu

how I sent you every single one of them,
and you were then so sweet,
and I don't know what changed you,
but you were all I need

I know that things are different now,
but you have to understand
that I am just a person too
I didn’t deserve to be treated like a fool

I kinda wish I knew the reason
why you stopped talking to me,
but I have to stick with the fact
I was easy for you to leave

I thought I was one of those
you could never get tired of
but on my own I had to solve
that “never” didn’t last that long

As it was supposed to be…

And I'm trying, but I can’t forget
how you hugged me when we first met
and every time I pass that place
I'm seeing me, and you hold hands

vintage stores and McDonald's
it was still the same,
but I enjoyed it like I never have,
guess it was just a game
