Fragile Being

It’s the inside I’ve always been .
Thoughts penetrate easily
I know my skin is thin.
I ride these introspective thoughts
like skywalker, torpedoes hitting my
mind like the death star .
My way of being so fragile like a
cookie in milk jar.

Next thing ,
there’s a chain reaction my conscience collapsing like lucid dreams with fading Somnacin.
As my vision is getting darker
its harder for me to get up these
thoughts are mobsters they
gang up on me and beat me
up like Arthur.

I admit , it takes true grit to take a
hit and stand up with a broken spirit.
But now I quit and as I make a run for it ,
they smack me on the ground.
I know I lack fugacity. I was taken aback
by their obstinate tenacity.

Nothing can be done now , as I lay down ,
I don’t want to die away,
these goons are armed and impatient to slay,
it was only sapient for an atheist to pray.

Now as I doze off in fear they disappear
in thin air this nightmare is down.
I know this shit is a bit to much to hang
around but we live in a twililght world
and these are just the highlights swirled
around my pen as I wrote them down.

About this poem

It is about a mental breakdown. How a simple thought enter's your mind from somewhere and can shake your way of being to it's core.
