Faithful Father

I was immature and not too sure of what was in store.
I slammed the door and wiped the floor of all thoughts of more.
More of what exactly you might ask?
I meant of Him,many spoke of his wondrous might and yet in his glory I did not want to bask.
Instead I put on a smile to hide my insecurities, hmm...what a poorly constructed mask.
But through all that He waited,
He confirmed what He had already stated,
That He is with me till the very end and that cannot be debated.
So I thank Him for taking off that mask because no matter how flashy it is, the original cannot be replicated.
