Dream Gazer

I want to fly

But need wings

I want to touch the sky

But something clings

I want to try and try

But everything swings

I want to listen lullaby

Peace which brings

I want to fly

But need wings

I want to touch the sky

But something clings

Sometimes, I see dreams with an open eye

It flows in my mind as springs

If these go astray it makes me terrify

I scare if my dreams not get stings

I want to fly

But need wings

I want to touch the sky

But something clings

I wish my dreams do my soul gratify

So that my soul cheerfully sings

Have faith in dreams and let the universe justify

How to fulfill all these things

I want to fly

But need wings

I want to touch the sky

But something clings

About this poem

It is about dreams and fears of ordinary people.
