Dear September

Dear September,
Do you not see the days are far spent?,
do you not see my back is half bent?
Do you not see the signs in the gloomy sky?
her weeping clouds, how weary they lie?

Dear September,
Do you not wish your days will run swift?
Into October, our sad faces to lift.
Or do you not see my nagging boss?
my pay day increasing his heart pulse.

Dear September,
Do you not listen to the swaying trees?
this time,as the heavy rain increase,
they whistle their woes while dancing free
and yearn, for the dry windy days to see

Dear September,
Do you not wish me delightful laughter?
that would echo from my belly ever after,
when I come to out to the smiling sun
and reassuring rainbow free and fun.

Dear September,
Do you not see the days are far spent?
Do you now know for what this verse is meant?
For your days to move faster is the only order,
that I may smile as I embrace another.
