Beauty

I am beauty
I wonder the difference from lies and truth.
I hear screams and laughter
I see tears and smiles
I want the truth
I am beauty

I pretend to cover up the mess
I feel queer and guilt
I touch the boarder between life and death
I worry for the consequence to come
I cry for help, for what I have just done.
I am beauty

I understand why many moan or celebrate
I say hooray
I dream of taking off this thick disguise
I try to hide the fact I cover
I hope to take a break forever.
I am beauty.

About this poem

It conveys a deep message about how beauty more often than not is not what it seems. It can sometimes cover up and tell a lie, it can lie about how evil and shallow society can be using beauty, nature, or the like.
