A better plan

Marguerite Smith 1961 (West Virginia)

How can yo come into gods house.
The holy sanctuary
Sitting there quite as a mouse
With a plan to pullout a gun that night
shooting innocent people
beneath the church steeple
Demons of hatred danced all about clouding your brain
The coldness of death could not heal your pain.
Your soul decieved an out of control
Some people they aint human.
they have no heart or soul.
The god of this world was so relieved.
For he thought he had won.
Then he saw the faces all a glow
as they walked toward the light.
If you only knew God had a better plan
All Gods children just took Gods hand.
They now live forever in a better land.
