A Beautiful Nightmare

I've seen a beautiful dream turning into a nightmare,
Though it felt like heaven at first but now it does a great job giving me a real scare.

They say it'll be fine,
They say it'll get better with time,
But the only place it's getting me to seems just like an unsolved mystery in a crime.

As simple as it is for others,
Why can't it be for me?
I guess in my case things are never really gonna get too easy.
I say I know that I'm worthy
But all these things that I let happen to me just tend to disagree.

A realistic place,
One like in my imagination
When will I get to see?
When will I stop hiding like Elsa?
When will I become like Anna
merry and free?

I know "Go with The Flow" is what they'll say
But here I am stuck in between whether to stay or to just get away.

I wonder why that beautiful part can't be kept on hold.
Why it has to rust like iron?
Why can it not keep shinning like gold?

I'll try my best to get over it
Lest it'll consume me,
It'll consume the whole me bit by bit.
