I Carried You To The Cross

Anita Gunter 1958 (Missouri)

Losing a child, can break your heart into                                  You feel so overwhelmed, you don't know what to do.           And when you feel like all hope is gone, everything is lost.                                                                                                  Remember when I carried you through the sand, I carried you to the cross.                                                                             So when you see one set of footprints in the sinking sand.                                                                                                 That's when I picked you up and carried you to dry land.       And when your heart is hurting, and you can't bare the loss.                                                                                              Remember when I carried you through the sand, I carried you to the cross
