My Soldier

Uncle Sam, Uncle Sam, why you do what you do , you took my precious wife to a land so strewn  you've taken her so far, so far away from home, so far away that we both feel alone, you took her away to a land filled with hate not just the enemy but the stress on her plate, you pack on the duties just like her heavy knapsack so many duties you're breaking her back. The stress and the hatred that bears upon all, in the US military so many will fall, my wife is so strong so mighty and pure, you won't drag her down this I am sure. She started from the bottom but she's raised to the top she took an oath that she's never forgot. Immense the duties that she is never quit she takes on more with never regret she's moved up the ranks, from E1 to E5 and when she puts on that uniform she feels so alive. So as I sit here and tell you how things might, be f*ck with my wife and you might see

About this poem

I wrote this poem about my wife she's a sergeant in the United States Army if every Soldier was like my wife we'd be unbeatable, she is dedicated she is loyal she is smart she's unstoppable and honestly the best damn soldier I have ever met and I'm proud to call her my wife.
