One little lie (original by Simple Creatures)
Verse 1- I live on the real side, so pull the shades tight, I hope your ready for memory's. my eyes are heavy, I have my energy and I trip and stumble, I'm a time bomb! I try to keep it steady, but my memory's, those light, are heavy.
Bridge- I lost myself to drinking
I lost my mind again. Its like I'm waiting for something, I'm always running. Always tightly wound on a wire.
Chorus- I tell myself one little lie , that my life will be alright, if I tell myself that little lie, then I know I'll be alright. My heart is heavy every day, like it's filled with love and memory's, I tell myself one little lie, and nothing hurts me.
Verse 2- earth quakes shake me, here eyes are bleeding, I've tasted your venom within. I'm keeping steady, what are you doing , I taste the salt on your skin. Fighting fires within, I fight for p residence, I fight from within!
Bridge 2- we lost ourselves in whisky, we lost our heads again, were leading Into deep waters, are we drowning again?
Chorus I tell myself one little lie , that my life will be alright, if I tell myself that little lie, then I know I'll be alright. My heart is heavy every day, like it's filled with love and memory's, I tell myself one little lie, and nothing hurts me.
Interlude- all of me
Opposite
Of what you see
That wasn't me
All of me
Of what you see
Is real in me
So don't think differently x4
Chorus-I tell myself one little lie , that my life will be alright, if I tell myself that little lie, then I know I'll be alright. My heart is heavy every day, like it's filled with love and memory's, I tell myself one little lie, then the pain won't kill me!
