Queen Elikabeth the second, A Tribute

The nation comes together,
This sad and tragic day,
As we bid farewell to our queen.
For the nation she was a treasure,
And now tributes we now pay,
As we look back on all she means.

As the head of our nation,
She served for seventy years,
But now we feel such a sense of loss.
When we heard the proclamation,
The nation turned to tears,
As we mourn for all we have lost.

Now Queen Elizabeth the second,
Has sadly passed away,
And yet we know her memory will never fade.
But as the nation's saddened,
this sad and mournful day,
We are reassured her memory will never fade.
