Wandering Love
Pink, and Peach and hue to each,
A creature pastel, colored rich.
Once a fox proclaimed a seer,
Recites a vision, of child he peer.
"Poor she wanders, lost beseech,
Beyond the planes, yonder reach."
So Day and Night, beseeching moonlight,
Winter, Summer, Scorching Sun,
Abode, abandoned lonely sight,
With longing gaze, within, beyond.
With eyes determined, and out the Cave,
With looks befitting, Love she craves,
With breath she puffing, her tail she waves,
With glance aggrieving, goodbye the Cave.
And so she traveled ravines deep,
With hope a'light, and feet to leap,
Caves, and crevice horror creeps,
She fights a'might of Love she keeps.
Within the North'n, lies a friend,
Oh a promise, strength she lends.
And so they moved on till the end,
Stabbed a back, betrayed by friend.
And so a ringing in her ear,
Of a Seer once a remember.
"Poor you'll wander, lost beseech,
Beyond the plains, yonder reach."
With that in mind, she turned her head,
To East and West, she tried to mend,
But then a great, disappointment,
What a repeat, of where she went.
So poor she wandered, lost indeed,
To the South, she last resorted,
To find a faithful one befriend,
But heart was crushed, abyss was sent.
And that, Alas! The lands avoid,
Cruel world of Love devoid,
So left no choice her eyes, ablaze'd,
Turn her sight to sky, amazed.
And so a ringing in her ear,
Of a Seer once a remember.
"Last you'll wander, wish beseeched,
Beyond the heavens, yonder reached."
So Lo' behold within the skies,
With wondrous gaze and regal eyes,
Roam the land with sparkling lights,
To seek that Love, that harden hides.
That harden hides, Forever. . . Hides.
About this poem
It is about a creature born of pink, furred creature born of Love. But how unfortunate just as she made her first wink, her parents died, deprived of Love. And so I made a story of how she traversed the lands, seeking of the one she'd lost and gone. . . the most and everything of Love. Deprived.
