To Shine.
She was apprehensive, paranoid .
Anxiety filled her heart.
She started out the window, making wishes to the full moon.
They saw it;
A burning flame
A girl's name.
A memory lane.
A thousand and one thought had flood her mind but just one haunted her.
''How much longer do I have left?"
...
And then...
And then she discovered that there is something within her.
Something greater than any man could think.
It was like she woke up from a coma,
she developed the greatest aura.
Discovering this was beautiful,
She saw beauty as a kid.
No, not the normal paradigm of beauty,
She for one, do not even like normal; she detest it.
The beauty was like the exhilaration of holding a new book.
The art of holding a Bible, Praying, feeling Him closer.
The art of nature; the stars, sunset, rain, trees, Heaven...poetry and everything in between.
The beauty of knowing who you are, what you can do!
The pulchritude of visiting an art gallery.
The newness of awakening from a coma, or even having your own rebirth.
The beauty. The discovery .
That is the beauty she saw.
She discovered who she is.
She discovered what she was made for.
"I am a star,
I am not just spiraling,
I am rebranding.
I am the master of my mind,
The captain of my soul.
I am the author of my history and I choose the life I want...
I choose to win.
I choose to shine.
I am a city set on the hill, and I cannot be hidden.
I have all it takes, I am powerful beyond measure.
I was created to shine.''
She said.
