The martyred Son

Don't get me wrong,
I didn't feel so strong.

That bullet gave my chest a pain,
That I shall never bear again.

Yes I left this turf untimely,
But I did that for my Indian family.

My mother might be weeping today,
That's all I could give her away.

But tell her that I love her the most,
And that her son lost his life, battling the host.

This pain that I feel in my heart,
Doesn't make my country thwart.

Because martyrs are those sons,
Who leave behind a message for tons.
