The cloud I am

It is as if I am a cloud, light and fluffy

Sometimes I turn grey, thick and stuffy

As the cloud I am, I keep it inside

It is said when I let loose, I’ve committed a homicide

Disappointingly enough, sometimes I rain

It is the bandages, not enough, to cover my pain

The cloud that I am, you want clear skies

Yet I struggle to be of your standards, hide my cries

As the cloud I am, I’m often left unattended

Though when the storm comes, It is my turn to fight, alone and defending.

As I watch the sunset and watch the sunrise,

Shining brightly on me, can’t help but smile, I look on sorrowly, knowing it is nothing but lies

I wish I could feel happy, a new day is born

Pleased in your face, yet my heart aches in a state of forlorn
