The Children We Love

For the children we love , the young souls we birthed.
We watched them grow , as They blossom into toddlers and then children .
we light up with joy as our kids say their first words , or walk their first steps
We see them wave goodbye as they Enter their last day of school .
As our kids get ready for this fulfilling summer.

For the children we love , never in a million would not think of them never returning ,

The young souls we birthed , crying out
Not understanding the reason .
No more chances at life , but now a gained angel .

The precious 21 life’s now rise above us
For the children we love , we now have to sit at their tombstone

We once think on memories to get rid of the pain .
The pain of a motherless or fatherless child , for the  children we love , the young souls we birthed .
