Sparkling Shades of Nature

Gurneet Kaur 2002 (Ludhiana)

Grandeur be to Almighty for multi-coloured
things-
For shades and lights in the skies;
For sparkling spots resolved in the flies;
Fiery black coal turning to orangish-red fumes,
leaving the embers to white.
Cultivators of farmland - sow, plant, buy and sell;
And all the commerce, their gadgetry are
supervised.
All things fluctuate
- fickle and fey;
With pretty, ugly; light, dark; hot, cold;
Pay gratitude to inmortal whose beauty is
inmortal;
Acknowledge him.
