South Africa. A beautiful country it was
South Africa, now it’s the time to rise. Yes, it might not have mattered back then but here we are, being haunted by our negligence.
Now is the time to think about the future we would like our grandchildren to live in. We have struggled enough to be self-centered and not being willing to give our future something to look forward to.
What kind of Ancestors are we yet to be if we were to let our grandchildren suffer the same way we suffered?
Let us pave the way so that the sun could be able to shine to its brightest, in which would be our smiles, shining down to our successes.
About this poem
This poem is based on our beloved country, South Africa, we seem to notice that it’s falling apart yet we fail to see that the biggest contributors to it is us.
