River of time

Since time long ago, people have sought,
To preserve their traditions and culture.
Even right now, many are in thought,
To catch their cherished memories, as if they were a vulture.
History continues to be made, and it is always forgot,
By those who live before, and those who come after.
The lands that once great empires had trod,
Have been reduced to places of amusement and laughter..
Schools teach the past to pass on the knowledge of before.
Never realizing the hatred that the students’ now bore.
