Remember

Today I'm a stranger to someone I once Known
My memories are clearer than ever
Remember when we used to talk for hours on the phone
Remember when you said I'm yours forever

Remember me when you can no more hold me by the hand
Remember me when I'm gone away for I can't stay
Remember when you told me of our future that you planned
Remember me day by day

Find someone great and wonderful
Find someone who will be your working week and Sunday rest
She looks kind and beautiful
I hope she is not the best

I hope you're happy but not like you were with me
And you love her but not like you loved me
I wish you all the best but may it not be better than me
Tell her you love her daily and never forget to show
Always remember to make her smile
I'm selfish, I know
Yet if you should forget me for a while
