Red flags

The red flags 2000 (Daveyton)

Free verse
Going through my diary
The sign have been there
The so called red flags
I collected them
Tried bleaching them
Only for them to turn pink
As long as they ain’t red
I convinced myself.
I was high, addicted
The brain couldn’t accept the flags were red. I was a junkie who never wanted to be sober.
