Pitiful Soul

Pitiful Soul

A longing mind looking sorrowful
Like a widow looking pitiful
Like a bird being caged
A shell of wisdom compromised

He says in his being what a shame;
I still down with my aim
looking fierce but be being abysmal
"Who would now carry my blame" he says

What a pity for a man insane;
A man that could not swim through his adventures
that could not stand on his composure
but rather take a tough break

I'm lame, cripple, blind of being alive,
"What a pitiful soul" he thought.

About this poem

The poem is about life, pity, sorrow, and sound melancholic. Sometime in life when a man is down or couldn't rise beyond his imagination he would likely give up and put everything on nature. Like line one of the PO says " A longing mind looking sorrowful" for me, a pity and a longing mind(man) always looking sorrowful even like a widow always looking pitiful and lonely. Read this poem and understand the stand of a pity, wretched and compromise man. Thanks
