My happy frog

A little green frog feasts
Inside my porch lamp at night
A heat and eat "grill"
With it's menu in flight
A veritable smorgasbord
Snagged one by one
All he can eat
Insects by the ton
He seems to be happy
His menu to his choosing
With my lamp on at night
I know he's not losing
So here's to my frog
And his dinner delight
He's forcing me to keep
My lamp on at night.

About this poem

One night I looked out the window and noticed this frog; seemingly in heaven.
