If Only

If only people cared enough
To find a cure for my laugh
But it seems like I'm on my own
And I have to get through this alone
Looks like the angels owe me one tonight
And I only hope that they redeem my light
I cry myself to sleep
Wondering if only I could leap
I would leap so far from the pain
That has brought me no gain
I tell myself I will find my voice one day

But only if the chances propose
