Groove

Hold my hands and take me with you

To a place faraway that is calm and cool

Let’s stand in the sun together forever

Let’s dance to this rhythm with maneuvers

Let’s dance to the sound from this beautiful nature

Let’s groove to the sound of birds as they tweet and chatter

Let’s groove to the sound of leaves as they rustle in gentle swish on a breezy night

Let’s groove to the sound of September rain

As it pitter-patters on the surface of the sea

Let’s groove to the horse’s neigh, the lion’s roar and the cricket chirping

Come on my friend, let’s move to the melody from the elephant’s trumpet

Let’s bury ourselves in this happiness and let the joy sink in deep

Let's give this nature a chance to overwhelm us in this frenzy

Let’s dance and groove to our today

For tomorrow might not come forth

About this poem

I got the inspiration standing on my Dad's balcony. I just felt this sensation from the sound of the birds.
