Forgiveness

Free verse
I have seen dark days
I have seen light days
I have seen my hardest moment in life

My heart has beating for a long time
I have cried for days
I was so weak for a long time

People did things that took my self-esteem and my self-confidence down
People hurted me badly
People that I thought that they loved me betrayed me, hurted me, and  treated me badly

Experience is the best teacher
All that I have been through has made me stronger and braver
Forgiveness conquer all

About this poem

This poem talks about being betrayed, hurt, and treated badly by people that you trusted badly but at the end we end up forgiven them so that we can heal.
