Everybody wants to rule the world….

Everybody wants to rule the world....

Throne of power, throne of control
Ruling our imagination,
Is a breathtaking sight to behold

Adorned with bleeding roses of all
Beautiful, rapturous but dangerous
Holding all captive in its venomous enthral

The one who sits, the one who seizes
The one who holds the throne of imperious curses
Drops fair sight-speech and ultimately loss preaches

Black, black is what lacks white
But dark, dark is profound like an insolent valley
The one what repulses light

Black fades slowly but incessantly with time
Darkness grows fiery, revealing the non-transient -vesper tine,
Spontaneously devouring innocent crimes

Power paves the path to demise
Is the fact everyone knows,
Still strive to resolutely stifle it in the coffin premise

Not for the innocent lives
Not for the ones who diligently work
For not truths but lies are resilient and suffice

The one who drinks the concoction of power
Becomes a slave of profound and malignant
For even smiles render atrocious grins which  taste sour and are besieged by hideously rapturous towers

The controller of each one and all
Stands as a captive besieged by dark
What an irony! The jailer itself is the prisoner in the castles so tall

The castle made of inscrutable blunders
With Bricks baked of gyrating eerie works
Where destiny falls short and only gullible selves are to wander

The thirst to power once hurled
Is inevitable and the articulate rendition of dark petrichor
The colours vanished as a transient pallor whorled
For everybody wants to rule the world......

About this poem

The poem renders a diligently worked upon literature tour telling about the malignant control the wistful thirst to power holds over the humans which are often caught up with the delirious means of world to wrought up power and authority through cacophonous and profoundly atrocious means. It reflects the parody of gaining impeccably staunch and devout power yet getting afflicted through and procuring inscrutable desolation , lamentation and disdain
