Destiny
Each day, I wait for my arrival to God's abode,
All these substandard storms have taken the lives
Of my fellow mates.
Misty, Mark always told me to stay put,
Knowing that their time would come soon.
I yearn to live till the foremost,
But my glittering colours have soon turned into gloomy grey.
I strive to make every little effort,
To hold tight,
Till my last breath.
But know, my fortune will be decided by,
The fall that would come my way.
I have learnt, why to grieve,
When I know my future,
As my future seems dark,
I DIE A LITTLE EACH DAY
About this poem
it is about the near end of a leaf hanging from a branch of a tree. It knows its end would come soon and being mortal cannot do anything about it and accepts the fact.
