Bell

I hear the bell ring,
sounds as if she
only wants to be loved.
Oh, hear the bell sing!

The bell rigger plays,
sounds confident and free.
As she is continuously stuck,
the vibrating sounds of this
brass beauty begins to fade...
Oh, hear the bell sing!

Her music soft,
soon to be lost.
Her songs still echo
the love she desires.
Oh, hear the bell sing!

If only the bell
could hear herself,
and see the beauty
that it played so well.
Oh, hear the bell sing!

About this poem

I wrote this poem for my little sister Belle. She is moving to Alaska, and I know I'll miss her, and I just hope she'll find happiness and peace.
