A poem for unique being

How can we talk?
Our shadows cast different, from the world’s standard
We are born unique, we are born ill, we are born living in a spectrum
We have no means to enjoy this life
Controlled by people that despise differences

Relationship, health, and understanding
We lack all that

We see colors differently,
But our lives have no color
We are defeated every day
But here we are standing
Not screaming, but a silence that you can hear

We wept our tears alone
Our pillow is drenched in salty tears
Living in a dark that seems wide as the universe
Unending suffering from life has been, there been.
