A nobody

I'm lonely;
so I bury myself in books
To live in another  reality.

I feel useless so I starve myself for afew days
Because if I'm ever kidnapped
Atleast I'll survive that.
(And maybe because I think I'm fat)

I feel worthless so I entertain boys
Who give me the slightest bit of attention
To get some sense of recognition

Be kind they said.
Stop letting people push you over they said louder.
You're not the girl you used to be they screamed.
My head hurts. My heart numb

I was once a kid with a heart of gold
But the older I got
The more cruel the world became
Leaving me with a heart so cold.

I tried to please everybody
Now look at me
Living with no identity.
