The Unraveling

This once was a confident nation.
Just live, and let others live,
But dark, unhinged insanity,
Has spread its plagueful grip.

Maligned are the family values,
We keenly fetid stench smell.
Not all is peachy in Homeland,
This country was turned to hell.

Wickedness is now rampant,
Condoned by ideologue geeks,
Grinding cities into the ground,
Blood flowing in the streets.

All justice, social or otherwise,
Lost meaning, in weed-smoke daze.
Sanctioned hate of approved races,
Is all the rage these days.

Commandments simply sneered at,
And prophets are ignored.
Our social order 's collapsing,
Onset by vile, brazen hordes.

And gaggle of political demagogues,
Proselytize at all who'd hear,
That stealing from US earners,
How state of affairs must be.

They obfuscated their doublespeak,
For the obtuse, who inhabit the realm.
Thrust hand-picked village idiot,
To rule at the country's helm.

Spawned legions of tax collectors,
That even Robin Hood would flee.
Your wallet had gotten much lighter,
They came for you, nothing is free.

And no amount of appeasement,
Would satisfy these fiends.
We pussyfooted, placated them.
They rotted this land from within.

In this progressive America,
What's virtuous is pegged as sin.
Degenerate old guard is rewarded,
Akin to Satan's kin.

Force innocent, confused children,
To down potions spawned from the id,
Get gutted, stripped of organs,
Docs curse them to never breed.

Bet Eichmann and doctor Mengele,
Both waltzing in their graves.
Dark legacy has blossomed,
Experiment on innocent babes.

The truth has gotten subverted,
Kids' brains are scrubbed and washed.
Insidious creep of perverse values,
Delusions on the naive minds forced.

See burly cretins in tutus,
Pirouetting caricatures of girls.
This sickness spread to the government,
Where the absurd now hold the reigns.

Mothers reclassed as birthers,
While blasphemers foolishly shriek.
And all the stupefied citizens,
To stop this are rather meek.

What was reviled, now exalted,
All that was holy profaned,
Few souls who dared protest this,
Thrown in dungeons, surely damned.

With atrophied gonads, spines jellified,
Opposing evil is not in the cards...
Perhaps once courage is mustered,
Republic will rise again, from shards.
