Why but why ?

Forever in an endeavour to appease the malicious world of social media,
Clamming the applause from inconsiderate multitude of digital world,
With full knowledge of insincere compliments and meaningless accolades,
Relations that were never meant to be, a bond so very absurd.


Competition with all to establish the ruse of better then perfect life,
While they weep, as hopes are tattered and world shatters around,
Present in a sea of ever rising swarm of bodies on this very globe,
Yet so lonely, so isolated, as solitude does impound.


Ignoring their mind their very essence is put at stake, Forfeiting the great opportunity that existence does present,
Ambling for meagre unsustainable pleasures, poignant lives,
Oblivious of the most wonderful gifts has the universe sent


I do not understand, I am unable to comprehend.
The reasons that drove the flock of humanity, I sigh, Unable to see the guidance on which society accords.
I do not acknowledge the motivation, why but why ?
