Schroedinger’s Cat and Quantum Indeterminacy

‘Schroedinger’s Cat’  and
Quantum Relativity.
Thought experiment.
Both in superposition.
An imaginary state.

The mind’s behavior.
On the nature of Being.
And of Time itself.
Overlapping in its space.
An existential problem.

Human conclusion:
The warping of Time and Space…
Makes one consider
How both are so intertwined.
Enough for one to declare…

Time is relative.
Time is therefore uncertain.
It is paced by space.
In a co-dependent state.
Need one to know the other.

To measure time is
A classical paradox
That baffles physics
Relying on time and space.
That are both so tied together.

As Eons of Now
Is how we must define Time.
In quantum physics.
A kind of Schroedinger’s Cat.
Of quantum entanglement.

Like Schroedinger’s Cat,
A philosophical ploy,
To demonstrate time
Is logically absurd
As phenomena in space.

Time appearing as
‘Uncertainty Principle.’
Forever nowness.
Quantum indeterminate.
The tenses collapsed in time.

Like Schroedinger’s Cat…
Hidden in a steel chamber.
Its status unknown.
So is that thing we call time.
Locked in an unknown space.

Thought experiment.
Showing time as relative:
Schroedinger’s Cat in…
Quantum superposition.
A space-time phenomenon.

Time turned on itself.
An ouroboros puzzle.
Snake biting its tale.
Einstein’s ‘Quantum Mechanics.’
Revolving on its axis.

Time is relative.
Time is therefore uncertain.
Time locked in a box.
In a box that we call space.
In Schroedinger’s hidden box.

Time is relative.
A cat hidden in a box.
In an unmarked space.
In indeterminate state.
Like Schroedinger’s hidden box.

About this poem

In 1935 (the year of my birth), Austrian theoretical physicist Erwin Schroedinger made a puzzling experimental observation in quantum mechanics, reported to the scientific world as “Schroedinger’s Cat Paradox” (the Observer-Dependent Measurement Effect, an algorithmic problem of uncertainty in quantum mechanics), to represent phenomenon that is well known but not understood, like Albert Einstein’s 1905 classical theory of Quantum Indeterminacy and of Relativity of Time, delineated in two parts: The Special Theory of Relativity (SR), and The General Theory of Relativity (GR). We can compare the wave particle effect in quantum mechanics with Schroedinger’s Cat Paradox experiment (known thereafter as the Copenhagen Interpretation of Quantum Physics), where the uncertainty principle probability effect of the state of existence in the ‘Now’ (and the nature of reality in general) is extended outside of the Schroedinger’s Paradoxical Cat Box and demonstrating the mystery of quantum entanglement. This tanka poem celebrates the outstanding achievements of both Einstein and Schroedinger in theoretical physics.
